JOSHUA’S SONG
De avond wordt getekend door een strak tijdsschema, om acht uur staat de eerste band dan ook al op het podium. Helaas is de Kleine Zaal nog erg leeg en galmt de power- en stonerrock de zaal in. Joshua’s Song heeft geen of een onvindbare MySpace. Wie of wat deze heren dan ook zijn is een groot raadsel. Het zijn in ieder geval niet de Amerikaanse singer-songwriters die ook onder deze naam actief zijn. Joshua’s Song is een aardige opwarmer, de powerrock met stonersaus is wat rechttoe rechtaan en de zang wat pathetisch. Het laatste nummer, met de toepasselijke titel Sleep Well, is meer in het straatje van Foo Fighters en daarmee zeer aangenaam. Maar dan zijn de heren plotseling verdwenen. Een beetje een koude douche, want het begon net leuk te worden.
